Ivoclar Vivadent’s Programat® P310 and P510 Furnaces
Offering users a new level of intelligence
Ivoclar Vivadent’s firing and press furnaces are built on a tradition of long-standing success—the company has been manufacturing this high-quality laboratory equipment for customers since 1976. Ivoclar Vivadent’s furnaces have been proven a thousand times over in laboratories and dental offices around the world.
The new series of Programat® furnaces, the P310 and P510, feature a number of convenient innovations that make the furnaces even more user-friendly and cost-effective than their predecessors. First, the furnaces are equipped with double-valve vacuum technology, which reduces the noise level of the pump during operation. The furnaces also have LAN and USB ports so that if an issue occurs, the laboratory can load the furnace data onto a USB flash drive and obtain a remote diagnosis by email. In addition, both furnaces are equipped with a high-resolution color touchscreen and color-coded Optical Status Display (OSD), which provide information regarding the operating status, even at a distance.
The Programat® P310 offers users over 300 individual firing programs, as well as a variety of maintenance programs. This furnace is extremely user friendly—its clearly structured menu contains modern icons, which can be click-activated to reach the desired programs or settings.
The Programat® P510 also features state-of-the-art-technology with an Automatic Infrared Monitoring (AIM™) system. Its integrated thermographic camera detects infrared rays and measures the temperature directly at the surface of the fired object. The infrared camera, coupled with the sophisticated furnace software, establishes the optimum pre-drying and closing parameters for each firing cycle. As a result, the furnace recognizes at which point the objects have been properly pre-dried, thus, the firing process is shortened by up to 25%. Further enhancements include improved QTK muffle technology, remote diagnostics, and much more.
