March

In each issue of Inside Dentistry, we’ll test your knowledge with a question often taken straight from an Inside Dentistry case report or CE course, crafted by a panel of Inside Dentistry’s Editorial Advisory Board members. Submit your best treatment plan and you’ll be entered into a drawing for one year’s worth of free Compendium Continuing Education, courtesy of Inside Dentistry, valued at over $300!

Good luck!

Case Background

The patient is a 29-year-old female who lost her anterior teeth in a traumatic accident and is currently wearing a removable partial denture to replace them. In addition, she has undergone extensive restorative dentistry to manage caries on her existing dentition; temporary crowns are present that have worn through to the underlying preparations on the maxillary right 2nd premolar and 1st molar, as well as the mandibular right 1st premolar, 2nd premolar, 1st molar and 2nd molar. Her treatment goals are to eliminate the removable partial denture, have a pleasing smile, and restore the posterior teeth that she knows are a problem.

The Question: What would your treatment plan be for this patient?

Do you know the answer?

Submit your response to eweisbrod@aegiscomm.com by April 5, 2013, subject line, “Oral Exam.” Out of all acceptable submissions, one winner will be randomly selected to receive one year’s worth of free Compendium Continuing Education from CDEWorld.com, courtesy of Inside Dentistry.

Congratulations to our January winner!
