Consumer Guide Offers Patient-Friendly Primer on Dental Implants

More than 14% of the American population has lost all of their teeth, and 150 million individuals are missing one or more teeth. Dental implants are becoming more popular as a treatment option to replace the lost body part and restore normal function.

The case histories are quite convincing, describing how individuals have benefitted from this approach. The success rate is greater than 95%, which is quite impressive.

The volume informs patients how to find an implant doctor that is right for their needs, what will happen below and above their gums, and what approach to take should they need more than implants. It also discusses potential drawbacks and educates patients how to live with and maintain their new implants.
