CAP officially announced a partnership with Amann Girrbach in North America on Monday.
"This combination of industry leaders will further bolster our comprehensive team of digitally seasoned dental professionals," CAP's Rob Nazzal and Bob Cohen said in a statement. "Together, CAP and AG will continue to provide the expert advice and high-quality digital solutions, all backed by the world-class customer support and education, that you are accustomed to."
The rest of the statement, sent to CAP customers, read:
"For CAP, simply stated, working with our customers to ensure their success is and will always be our mission, and AG mutually shares this vision. You can be confident that the level of quality and support you have always known will remain constant.
"Effective January 5, you will have access to AG’s lines of products, innovations, materials and tools, all from CAP. Additionally, in the event of any AG CAD/CAM equipment service problems or interruptions, you will have access to CAP's milling center which will manufacture for you, at cost, until your machine is functioning properly. We will also be combining our order fulfillment function and sales forces. AG’s Charlotte office will remain the hub of their corporate presence in North America, including US marketing, product service/repair functions, administrative and other functions, while all other services will be transferred to CAP’s headquarters in Stoneham, MA.
