AAPD’s Litch Discusses Affordable Care Act’s Effect On Pediatric Dentistry

June 5, 2012 (San Diego, California) —The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s (AAPD) 65th Annual Session, held May 24-27, featured a presentation on how the Affordable Care Act will affect pediatric dental care. Medscape Medical News interviewed copresenter C. Scott Litch, MA, JD, CAE, chief operating officer and general counsel for the AAPD for his views on the subject. Among the questions answered was, “What is likely to be the biggest impact of the Affordable Care Act on dentists?” and “How many children will gain coverage through this law?”
