New Team Members

Every business faces that critical point in its evolution when the decision must be made to grow and innovate or stay the course. Publications such as IDT are no different than the company that you lead in that regard. We, like you, are a business. As such we have always advocated embracing change, being agile in order to detect and keep pace with shifts in our industry, and always challenging ourselves to find new avenues to bring you the information you need to remain competitive in the marketplace and best serve your clients.

For these reasons, we believe it’s time to inject a diversity of new perspectives and new energies into the quality content that you expect from IDT’s media platforms. We are therefore excited to welcome two new members to IDT’s editorial team: Peter Pizzi, CDT, MDT, and Daniel Alter, MSc, MDT, CDT. We believe that by utilizing their extensive technical expertise, experience, and knowledge we will further strengthen our ongoing commitment to keep IDT’s editorial content relevant in a rapidly changing business environment.

Peter Pizzi will serve as Co-Editor-in-Chief of IDT, alongside me, and together we will expand IDT’s content offerings from the printed page to new avenues that will further engage professionals working in the dental technology industry. Peter’s lifelong dedication to education and his unique ability to teach and inspire others, we believe, will enrich our mission to advance the technical knowledge, artistry, and mastery of the dental technology profession.

Daniel Alter is equally committed to education and elevating the profession. He will serve as IDT’s Director of Professional Relations and Content Acquisition to enhance and broaden our connections with the dental technology and manufacturing communities to further our mission to be a complete information resource for our readers.
