x-tra base

VOCO’s x-tra base is a fast-setting bulk fill posterior composite that allows curing of 4mm layers in only 10 seconds when using the universal shade. The 75% filled x-tra base has a low shrinkage and low shrinkage stress, which combined with its high compressive strength (350 MPa) and flexural strength (133 MPa) makes it a perfect foundation for posterior fillings. X-tra base can be used in the open and closed sandwich technique, and the self-leveling effect allows easy adaption to the cavity walls. X-tra base is also highly radiopaque (350% Al) for easy x-ray identification. X-tra base available in universal or A2 shade in VOCO’s patented non-dripping syringe or unit dose caps with extra long bendable metal tips.
