LightWalker™ Hard and Soft Tissue Lasers, from Technology 4 Medicine, is dentistry’s first hard and soft tissue laser series that includes a model priced below $30,000. Available in both single Er:YAG and dual Er:YAG/Nd:YAG wavelength models, LightWalker lasers can perform fast cavity preps (usually without anesthetic), virtually all soft tissue surgical procedures, and minimally invasive laser endo and perio treatments. LightWalker lasers are manufactured by Fotona, the European leader in all-tissue dental lasers. The LightWalker laser is available in three models to meet every dentist’s needs and budget. The single wavelength 8-watt model ST-E Er:YAG laser is perfect for hard tissue, soft tissue, and the proprietary PIPS™ (patent applied for) endo protocol. The dual wavelength 8-watt model DT adds Nd:YAG laser capability for expanded soft tissue options including proprietary WPT™ perio protocol. The top of the line dual wavelength 20-watt AT model features the ultimate in convenience and ergonomic comfort while also providing an upgrade option for aesthetic treatments such as wrinkle removal, permanent hair removal, and skin resurfacing (where permitted by local scope of practice rules).
