The CURE TC-24 curing light from Spring Health Products uses a LED light with 4 light emitting diodes to generate a very broad light spectrum. The broad spectrum gives clinicians excellent compatibility with most composites (440- 465nm) and polymerization in 6 seconds without any disadvantages, such as heating of the pulp often associated with ultraviolet or infrared rays.
Audible beeps occur every 2 seconds during operation, and the digital light timer can be adjusted between 2 and 20 seconds. The Cure TC-24 can run in a high mode for curing materials and a low mode for curing near the pulp, minimizing polymerization shrinkage. The TC-24 is made in the USA. The all-metal construction makes it extremely durable.
