Septocaine® Articaine hydrochloride 4% with Epinephrine 1:100,000 and 1:200,000, from Septodont, is indicated for local, infiltrative, or conductive anesthesia in both simple and complex dental procedures. It is available in two formulations so the clinician can decide which epinephrine concentration is right for the patient and the procedure.
Septocaine has an onset time of 1-9 minutes, and predictable anesthesia duration (up to 60 minutes for infiltration, up to 120 minutes for nerve blocks). Septocaine is also latex-free and has a no-methylparaben formula to reduce the risk of allergic reaction.
