For routine dental procedures and oral surgery, Orabloc™ articaine-based injectable dental anesthetic from Pierrel S.p.A. provides rapid onset of action. Each cartridge is sealed individually in blister packages, to insure its cleanliness and protect the epinephrine. After injection, Orabloc takes effect within 1-9 minutes and provides full anesthesia for about one hour for infiltrations and up to two hours for nerve block.
Orabloc has a 24-month shelf-life when stored at 77°F. Orabloc also requires less epinephrine overage, so there’s less vasoconstrictor in each injection which is safer and healthier for patients.
