Disposable Press Plungers

Monarch Disposable Press Plungers are designed to work with any type of pressable ceramic system. The plungers are easier to use, speed up workflow, and are more cost effective by eliminating the laborious task of cleaning reusable plungers. In addition to being far more efficient than traditional ALOX plungers, disposable plungers are also far more effective. Monarch Disposable Press Plungers are made with a refractory material similar to that of the investment used to make a pressable mould. This offers a uniform cooling rate between the mould, the ceramic, and the plunger, eliminating the thermal shock that occurs with ALOX plungers that can lead to cracks in pressed restorations. Monarch Disposable Press Plungers are available in 12mm, 13mm, and 16mm sizes, are packaged in durable packaging that protects the plungers from damage, and can be easily cut to accommodate additional ingots for pressing.
