KOMET USA’s line of S-Diamonds®, long offered in a variety of configurations and lengths to accommodate individual crown-preparation designs, has been expanded to include even more shapes and sizes to complete the line. Specially engineered for occlusal and lingual reduction in crown-preparation procedures, the S6368 football-shaped diamond is a new addition to the S-Diamonds® collection.
Like the rest of the S-Diamond® line, the football-shaped version features a unique diamond understructure on its working portion, incorporating staggered plane surfaces to optimize material reduction, thereby saving operator time.
In addition, the diamond assures maximal debris removal, facilitates cooling, and enhances patient comfort due to its low-loading design. The coarse diamond is offered in 3-mm (diameter 016) and 5-mm (diameter 023) lengths and can be operated at speeds of up to 300,000 rpm. It is available individually or in five-count Chicklet™ packages.
