ACTEON North America’s sopix2 x-ray systems use fiber optic-based CMOS to deliver exceptional image quality. X-rays taken with the SOPIX2 are high-definition to simplify diagnoses, and the corners of each sensor are rounded for easier placement inside the mouth and increased patient comfort.
The SOPIX2 is available in two sensor sizes; Size “1” is used vertically for x-raying one to three teeth, and Size “2” is recommended for horizontal use for bitewing x-rays. SOPIX2’s sensors also possess Ace Technology, which analyzes the amount of x-ray emission required by the sensors in real time. Ace Technology protects each image from overexposure and ensures that the first shot is always perfect.
