July

In each issue, we’ll test your knowledge with a question taken from an Inside Dentistry case report or continuing education (CE) course and crafted by a panel of Inside Dentistry’s Editorial Advisory Board members. Submit your best treatment plan and you’ll be entered into a drawing for 1 year’s worth of CE, courtesy of Inside Dentistry, valued at more than $300!

Good luck!

Case Background

A 37-year-old woman expressed interest in improving her smile and was seeking options. Her first inclination included porcelain veneers to improve her maxillary anterior color and tooth shape. Of significance was a congenitally missing lateral incisor (tooth No. 7). The room for this tooth in the arch form was completely lost. Furthermore, excessive mandibular crowding made proper anterior function very difficult, if not impossible.

The Question: What would be your treatment plan for this patient?

Do you know the answer?

Submit your response to eweisbrod@aegiscomm.com, subject line “Oral Exam,” by August 5, 2013. Out of all acceptable submissions, one winner will be randomly selected to receive 1 year’s worth of CE from CDEWorld.com, courtesy of Inside Dentistry.

Congratulations to our May winner!
