Dr. Craig Ian Brawner, a graduate of Oregon Health Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon, is the 2012 grand prize winner of the “Hanau Best of the Best: Excellence in Prosthodontic” award from Whip Mix. The award is presented to a graduating senior who has excelled in the study and clinical applications of prosthodontics.

Originally from Bozeman, Montana, Dr. Brawner attended Montana State University, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy, and obtained certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer. He continued his educational pathway by attending Oregon Health Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon, graduating at the top of his class with honors. He is married to Karla Brawner and has a one-year-old daughter, Brinn Brawner. Dr. Brawner currently practices in Farmington, New Mexico with Sundance Dental Care.

Each dental school is given an opportunity to nominate a student that has shown excellence in both clinical applications and academic performance. Each of the nominees receives a Hanau™ Wide-Vue Articulator in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments. Out of these nominees, Whip Mix evaluates the entries and selects one student as the grand prizewinner who receives an all expense paid trip to the Dawson Academy seminar, “Functional Occlusion from TMJ to Smile Designs,” in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida.
