Team Schein Members Support John H. Smyth Scholarship Program
Henry Schein, Inc. recently supported the John H. Smyth Scholarship program by selling tickets to the Philadelphia Phillies’ baseball game against the New York Mets on May 30, 2014. Proceeds from ticket sales went toward an annual $5,000 scholarship, which is awarded to a member of the Julia R. Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration School graduating class. The scholarship fund was established by Vickie Waitsman and John Smyth in memory of their son, John H. Smyth, who died suddenly in 2005 at age 16.
By selling the most tickets to the game, Henry Schein had the opportunity to select one of its Team Schein Members to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Eighty fellow Team Schein Members cheered on Jules Paoletti, a Glen Mills, PA resident.
Henry Schein was honored to participate in this event to support their long-time partner, Vickie Waitsman, Vice President and General Counsel, DentalEZ Group.
