Greater New York CDT Study Group Announces Spring Dental Clinic

The Greater New York CDT Study group will be offering its first Dental Clinic of 2014 on March 13. Taking place from 6-8 p.m. in the Atrium Ampitheater at the New York City College of Technology (300 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY), speaker Casey Miller, CDT will be leading a discussion on DENTSPLY Prosthetic's Celtra DUO. 2 hours of CE credit will be awarded for attendance, and food and refresments will be served prior to the start of the meeting in Room N119 at 5 p.m.
This lecture will include discussions on the material science of Celtra, design and milling systems that are compatible, and hands-on demonstrations of the stain and glaze process. Attendees will learn how their laboratories can be more efficient by eliminating the crystallization process and delivering CAD all-ceramic crowns with strengths of 370 Mpa.
Casey Mill, CDT, is currently employed with DENTSPLY Prosthetics as a Technical Specialist with over 21 years of diverse experience in the dental industry. Casey is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and has training and experience assisting dentists and technicians in all areas of dental specialties, including dentures, partials, and crown and bridge. He is a graduate in Basic Prosthetics and Advanced Dental Technology with honors from the School of Navy Dental Technology. Casey has managed dental clinics and laboratories during his time in the Navy that specialized in removable, fixed, and full mouth reconstruction cases. Upon retirement from the U.S. Navy in April, 2008, Casey joined the Prosthetics Technical Department and will be training and lecturing at both of our Technical Centers, and throughout the United States. Casey is a Certified Dental Technician.
