NADL's Vision 21 2014: Take Control of the Future

The theme of the 2014 NADL Vision 21 meeting held at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on January 16-18 was Take Control of the Future. The meeting lived up to its promise with a lively manufacturer panel discussion on the future of digital impressions; a vision from presenter Jim Carroll for business strategists facing the impact of new and emerging technologies; an informative presentation on buying next generation milling and printing technologies by Stuart Steinbock and Chris Waldrop, CDT, as well as an informative presentation by Bennett Napier on the shifting customer dynamic and Keller Laboratory's CEO Larry Weiss' detailed delivery on maximizing technology to compete in the future. The last presentation of the meeting, "Leadership Isn't for Cowards" by speaker Mike Staver, ended an upbeat two days.
Current NADL President Henry Martin handed over the presidential reins for 2014 to Gary Iocco at Thursday evening's reception honoring Gary. At Friday evening's NADL Awards Reception, Rita Acquafredda (Zahn Dental Supplier Member of the Year), Renata Budny, CDT (Educator of the Year Award), Dr. William D'Aiuto (Merit Award for Outstanding Achievements), Craig Pickett, CDT (Excellence in Education Award), Bob Rusler (Harry Hagman CDT Inventors Award) and Wilma R. Peterson, CDT (2014 CDT of the Year Award).
