Posted on November 15, 2013

Irvine, Calif., Nov. 6, 2013 – RolandDGA Corp.will be taking its award-winning DWX dental CAD/CAM milling machines to top industry events this fall, demonstrating their advanced capabilities to dental lab owners and other industry professionals on both coasts.

The DWX-4 and DWX-50 will be on display in Orange County, Calif. Nov. 15 – 17 at the annual Dental Lab Owners Association of California (DLOAC) Symposium and Expo, in Booth #11.  Roland will also showcase DWX mills in Booth #128 at ColLABoration 2013, to be held Nov. 29 – Dec. 4 in New York City.

“At these events, we will demonstrate just how easy it is to make the transition into digital dentistry with the right tools,” said Brian Brooks, product manager for Roland DGA Corp.  “DWX mills make it possible for labs of all sizes to produce dental prosthetics in-house profitably while realizing faster turn-around times and exceptional results.”

Built on 20 years of proven Roland CNC technology, DWX mills bring affordability, ease of operation and precise milling capabilities to dental lab owners and technicians.  Open architecture by design, DWX milling machines integrate with industry standard CAD/CAM software and hardware to produce precise dental prosthetics, including crowns, copings, bridges and abutments, from nano ceramics, zirconia, PMMA and wax.  The DWX-50 recently earned approval from 3M ESPE for the company’s Lava Ultimate Restorative resin nano ceramic material.

As Roland’s flagship dental mill, the DWX-50 is packed with features, including 5-axis simultaneous machining capabilities and a 5-station automatic tool changer with tool length sensor for automated milling of complex prosthetics from start to finish.  Engineered to meet the same high standards for precision and performance, the more compact, 4-axis DWX-4 is a complete solution, including CAM software, for on-demand milling of single crowns and small bridges.  Both devices feature an intuitiveVirtual Panel for easy desktop operation, and a diagnostic notification system that automatically alerts the technician when jobs are completed or production errors occur.
