ProJet 1200 Printer from Whip Mix

Time to move into printing your burnout patterns

The light beam polymerizes the liquid layer, the table moves down several microns, fresh liquid resin fills the space, the next layer is polymerized, and the process continues in order to create the final shape.

The Software

The Windows-based operating system offers a network connection through a LAN port or a direct computer connection using a USB port. Simply set up the printer, plug it into an electrical source, and send an STL file. The software automatically nests the pattern files and optimizes the location of the supports. Alternatively, the technician can customize these.
