A look into the core values and principles of GC America.

It is the culture and spirit of a corporation that drives the quality of its products, energizes the commitment of its employees, and encourages the success of its customers. It is a culture and spirit the founders of GC Corporation call “Semui,” a term drawn from ancient Buddhist teachings and literally means “There is no fear if you do nothing for your own sake.” The commitment of all to the betterment of humanity is a concept that runs deep within every employee of GC Corporation. Nowhere is that more evident than in the spirit of customer care the GC America laboratory sales division exudes. Comprised of 15 team members led by Felix Fontanez, CDT, the GC laboratory sales team views itself as a family of individuals, dedicated to helping each other help their customers. “We are a team with a high sense of honor and respect for each other and the customers we serve,” says Fontanez. “Our greatest desire is to understand our customers and help them be successful by learning about their businesses and finding areas where our products can bring value to what they do.” Because it is about caring for, understanding, and catering to the needs of each individual customer both large and small, team members must either be a certified dental technician or have a strong dental field background with technical knowledge. Technician training and technique troubleshooting are a big part of what customers expect from the GC sales team. “And if the product in the end doesn’t work for the customer, they can return it,” says Fontanez. “We are so confident that the products we develop and market are of the highest quality and can bring value to our customers, we guarantee them for an entire year.” It is this dedication and commitment of each employee to the core culture that Fontanez says will elevate GC to the number one dental company in the world by the 2021, a century GC is committed to making the “Century of Health.”
