BISCO has long offered adhesive products that are compatible with dual-cure and self-cure resin-based cements and core materials (All-Bond 2®, One-Step®, All-Bond SE®/TE™/3®, etc.). In addition, BISCO offers adhesive products that are dual-curable for those instances where a curing light cannot reach or penetrate a restorative material (All-Bond 2, All-Bond TE/3). With the creation of All-Bond Universal®, BISCO introduced a simple one-bottle adhesive system that met all the needs of clinicians, using a superior chemical formulation based upon 30 years of research.

Despite All-Bond Universal’s film thickness of only 10 microns, some clinicians prefer an adhesive/primer that does not need to be light-cured, ensuring that the indirect restoration will seat properly regardless of the film thickness of the adhesive layer. BISCO has responded with an adhesive/primer—Universal Primer™—that is based upon the chemistry of All-Bond Universal.

Universal Primer does not need to be light cured for post cementation or under crowns, onlays, inlays, etc., when used with dual-cure or self-cure restorative materials. It can be used in other direct restorative procedures, such as core build-ups or composite restorations after light curing the adhesive. Universal Primer is compatible with self-cure, light-cure, and dual-cure materials, and its chemistry offers the flexibility to self-etch, selective-etch, or total-etch.

Universal Primer, when used with BISCO’s Duo-Link Universal™ cement, has shown higher bond strengths when compared to other systems. Plus, it is also compatible with other popular cementation systems.

Universal Primer combines ease of use with virtually no postoperative sensitivity. It is available in a two-bottle system or in the convenient, all-in-one ACE® cartridge system. To help simplify material selection and to continue to provide maximum clinical performance, Universal Primer is also available in a system kit with Duo-Link Universal. This combination offers superior bond strength and esthetics.

Universal Primer Key Features and Benefits:

· Can be used with total-etch, self-etch, or selective-etch techniques
· Clinical evaluation confirms the ease-of-use benefit, with virtually no postoperative sensitivity
· Low film thickness(<5 microns)
· No light-curing necessary when used with dual-cured or self-cured restorative materials

Testimonial

“Bisco’s Universal Primer integrates into my usual bonded-cementation and direct-resin protocol with ease. Utilizing this dual cure-bonding agent ensures complete curing of indirect restorations and deep composite placement. I have the confidence of a complete cure to eliminate sensitivity in my patient’s bonded dental treatments.”
